C1–C7. Lateral aspect. This view allow to demonstrate intervertebral openings for spinal nerves. The first spinal nerve (C1) pass through the gap between arcus posterior of atlas and occipital bone, but the last one — the spinal nerve C8 — through the foramen intervertebrale between seventh cervical vertebra and the first thoracic vertebra.
